alot of alternative.....which really is no difference I'D say to actual rock. i dont know why it has to be a separate genre really, when u listen to it its exactly the SAME. lol....w/e.

Linkin Park is pretty good. Haven't listented to them for a few years though, same with Nirvana which used to be my favorite band back in day. I tend to listen to a lot of the harder stuff, pretty much just Metal in general. I'm obsessed with Melodic Death Metal (In Flames, Children of Bodom, Norther, Arch Enemy) and Power Metal (HammerFall, DragonForce, Dio). Don't get me wrong I will listen to some general "rock" if I don't have a choice between much else, I'm just usually not in the mood for softer stuff. Even when I'm depressed I usually listen to SOiL, Godsmack and Kittie. Yeah music is basically my life, but I'll shut up now.

i DO like:
alternative
rock
some folk (lol^^ celtic music rox)
some new age (like enya)
and i will OCCASIONALLY listen to bands like sublime and citizen cope.
but yeah my ipod is like my entire lifeline. i'd go mad if i didnt have music to listen to. i take my ipod everywhere with me. even school. one day, i didnt take it with me, i FREAKED OUT all day cuz it felt so weird not to have it. lol im used to having the feeling of headphones around my neck.

When it comes to celtic music or rather Pagan music I listen to Godsmack lol. At least "Voodoo" really reminds of it, good song, not too hard either.

I'll listen to country simply because I was brought up around it and still live in a backwater hick town. I only really like that Alan Jackson song about cornbread and chicken.

Rock I will listen to, but most of those trendy rock bands like Taking Back Sunday, Good Charlote and Yellow Card etc. annoy me. I listen to a lot of J-Rock though.

Techno is mostly no though I have some metal-like techno songs/bands and some Technoish DMC music. Same with Rap, I stay away from it, but I listen the occasional rapmetal song/band, namely ICP and Boondoxxx. Pop I stay away from as well as nothing quite makes me want to put a bullet in my head in like that...and they say my music causes teen suicides, hmph.

Punk is something I'll listen to, I used to be really into it and that scene in highschool, Misfits, Mad Caddies, (old) AFI, though now I prefer the hardcore stuff like The Casualties and The Exploited.

Lol cool. Thats actaully how I found out about Dead To Fall. Was watching something on MTV 2/Fuse and saw a comercial for thier new album The Phoenix Throne and it had a song on there with a really catchy riff. I looked into 'em on MySpace to hear some more and instantly bought all three of thier ablums on iTunes. ...Probably the only music I have on there that is actually purchashed haha...well no I guess I do own 25ish CDs though I haven't managed to get my Nirvana on there yet.

I have a pretty wide selection of bands I like and I could probably compose my ABC's easy with the names of Metal bands alone.
